General Information
Better than 20/20
Studies show that seven out of ten people see better than 20/20 when properly fit with ACUVUE® contact lenses by an eyecare professional. If you have 20/20 vision, you can see clearly at 20 feet what should normally be seen at that distance. If you have 20/100 vision, it means that you must be as close as 20 feet to see what a person with normal vision can see at 100 feet.
Comfort, convenience and good eye health
Some ACUVUE contact lenses are so thin and comfortable that you can wear them while sleeping (for up to one week). Wearing 1•DAY ACUVUE® every day and throwing them away is the healthiest way to wear contact lenses.
Trustworthiness
ACUVUE contact lenses are made by Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Inc., a name you know and trust.
Affordability
Depending on how often you replace your lenses, every week or every two weeks, the cost of ACUVUE contact lenses is less than what you spend on a cup of coffee and a newspaper. Many vision care plans cover the cost of contact lenses.
Pioneer and innovator
ACUVUE contact lenses were the first disposable contact lenses that could be worn for up to one week, thrown away and replaced with a fresh pair. 1•DAY ACUVUE was the world’s first daily disposable contact lens. ACUVUE bifocal contact lenses won the Silmo D’Or for Innovation in Contact Lens Science.
